What was the highlight of Pedras do Mar Resort
Location, amenities and views were great!
The views are amazing, the breakfast was awesome, and the pool was refreshing. The majority of the staff was extremely nice, with an exception of one, but that is usually the way. We did not let it ruin our opinion of the remaining persons who were kind, funny and hospitable- We really enjoyed the location and staff at the hotel, it was very nice.
I did not like being told i would have to eat in the room and not on the patio where there was NO ONE else eating. I also wish Housekeeping was consistent, as we were missed a couple times although we'd put the sign up. Not a big deal, really.

Lovely hotel, good value for the money if you want a relaxing stay in the Azores!
Beautiful property, right on the water with an infinity pool. The ocean view rooms are definitely worth it! Easy to get to from PDL airport despite not being in a major town. Gym and indoor pool / sauna area is very nice. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was nice.
Food was not the best, dinner was overpriced. Definitely recommend making reservations outside! The spa also has very limited availability so book in advance. Staff doesn’t all speak English very well so keep that in mind. Only other thing is the photos make it seem like the property is beach front - it is not, the ocean below the property is just a bunch of rocks.

Amazing views, a bit more luxury for the price would help.
The ocean view is to die for. Rooms are nice and clean, albeit a bit small. Breakfast is great and staff very friendly.Location is ok, but you do need a car to discover the island.
For us, it was to pricey for what it offered. We are used to luxury hotels, but for 350€ a night, we expected a bit more. Pool was outdated and almost empty on one of the days. Rooms on the small side. Did feel a bit all inclusive instead of luxury hotel.

Very Good
Had all the amenities we needed and was in a central location to get to other parts of the island.
Nothing was within walking distance. Need a car to be get around.
